Who is Wen for?
Wen is for people who want Chinese to feel a little more like themselves. It started with heritage speakers and real conversations, from the group chat to a first date. Curious learners are welcome too.
What will I find inside?
Conversation phrases with meanings, pinyin, examples, and usage notes, plus a separately labeled dictionary collection. Explore by mood, save words, and choose Simplified or Traditional Chinese. Dictionary definitions are distinct from Wen’s authored phrase lessons.
How does screenshot reading work?
In the iOS app, choose an image with Apple’s photo picker. Wen shows recognized Chinese, pinyin, and English meaning. It reads the image you select, not your live screen or messages. Some English translations may need an Apple language download.
Can I download Wen yet?
Wen is coming soon for iPhone and iPad. A public download link isn’t available here yet. For questions about the app, email wenstudio888@gmail.com.
What happens to my saved words?
In the iOS app, your notebook and preferences stay on your device, without a Wen account. The “Keep this one” button in this website sample saves only a phrase ID in this browser. It doesn’t sync to the app. Read the app privacy policy.
